Was loneliness on your list? You may not be aware of or have thought of this one essential trait in your professional life before. It’s like climbing Mount Everest

I’m sure you know that you all have more than a few traits in common. And I’m certain common sense is one trait you all share. Now take a minute and think of all of the other traits you may share.

Was loneliness on your list? You may not be aware of or have thought of this one essential trait in your professional life before. It’s like climbing Mount Everest. It can be very lonely for several reasons at the top. The huge responsibility and confidentiality you have to carry every day may make you feel very alone.

One of my clients is a CEO. When we met each other for the first time, he was already stressed, short fused, tired and starting to develop anxiety. His family life was under pressure. He needed a partner who he could trust and wouldn’t judge him, someone who could be a mirror and a sounding board.

He is married to a wonderfully understanding wife and has a lovely family. However, due to the nature of his demanding role, he didn’t want to speak with his wife because he didn’t want to compromise his responsibility or confidentiality and risk the safety of his family. Protecting his family on many levels was more important to him than sharing his feelings. Therefore, he kept everything to himself, making his career even harder.

We started coaching once a week, but now we only meet for an hour and a half once a month. His well being has improved tremendously and his family life is healthy again. His stress levels have significantly decreased and last week he even mentioned that the board and his team have noticed a big difference. Most importantly, he is a devoted husband and father again. He is now a radiant CEO who absolutely loves his career and family. He loves life again!

I can relate because I have been there before. I know how lonely it can be at the top of a mountain. Your life can become very isolated. Although we may physically exercise and eat a healthy diet, it is so easy to forget our mental exercises. However, our mental well being is the most important function of all. It’s easy to neglect, but the good news is that it’s easy to fix. Making the first step is making a difference not only in your own life but also in the lives you touch.

My mission is to help you balance your work and life successfully. I’m here to help you fine tune your vision and mission. We’ll do this together. In some cases, prevention is better than a cure. In other cases, we can work on expanding your possibilities and creating a life of choices through your own awareness.

After all, it’s your journey and it’s your choice to make it a happy and healthy one!

Get Life Fit!

Yesterday, I met a very good friend who is going to a difficult time, this is what came to my mind and I like to share it with you.

Thoughtful Observation

Have you come to a realization about a relationship? Have you analysed your Union, who you are holding together, this can be your time of making a difference of cleansing.

Making real changes – can wait until you have deepened your understanding.
Use your time for reflections.

“A fundamental fact of consciousness is that we take on the attributes and energy of that upon which we focus our attention.” So, it is important that you focus on the whole of the situation, including the possibilities for the future, and not just the circumstances of the past”.

But just because you are still in a period of your thoughtful observation doesn’t mean you need to wait to more openly live your real values. The more honest you are about what you truly want the more influence you will have on others.

After all, it’s your journey and it’s your choice to make it a happy and healthy life.

Love Esther

Creating awareness around this story will help to learn and grow around the way we think. We have the choice to go either way. Sometimes we need a little bit of help to learn to be more mindful. Sometimes it happens naturally just by reading this little story. Remember we all have our blind spots…
Change start by creating awareness.

Love to all…

The Story…

One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people. He said, “My son, the battle is between two wolves inside us all.
One is Evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies fails pride, superiority and ego.
“The other is Good. It is joy, peace, love hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith”.
The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather,
“Which wolf wins?”
The old Cherokee simply replied, “The one you feed”.
Did you know that your habits are what will propel you up to the success curve or down the failure curve?

The individual who want to reach the top in business must appreciate the might of the force of habit- and must understand that practices are what create habits. He must be quick to break those habits that can break him – and hasten to adopt those practices that will become the habits that can help him achieve the success he desires.
J. Paul Getty

Your Action for the week…

Found your down Habit(s) and practice awareness….
If you don’t know what your down habit is, ask a good friend to help you… remember we all have them… Be honest with yourself and keep your daily practice of awareness…. Then your next step will be the change… 

About a year ago , i started seeing Esther on a weekly basis , getting some coaching . I first realised i needed some guidance , when Esther , my dear friend , pointed out to me , that perhaps i would consider getting life coaching, instead of winging about my unhappy state of my decisions .
I decided to take her advice . So it began …. I was not really ready for the confronting questions Esther was demanding i answer . It was like being in a dead end street and you are faced with the situation and you cant get out of it , you have to face the reality and deal with it face to face . The ‘WHYS’ i felt about my perceived reality and the ‘HOWS’ , i got in the situation , were the start to a realisation with many possibilities , that i could change . Its quiet simple . We choose to complicate things . Esther i am forever , grateful for your help and caring approach to the sensitive issues you help me deal with . It was a journey on its own , starting out stressed and hopeless and fear .. turning out to focussed , hopeful and optimistic .
I sincerely sugest GO Life Coaching , for a different unorthodox approach, if you are a nonconformist
